On January 22, 2024, Fu Chujian, Chairman of Italy Winningstar Group, was invited to participate in the inauguration ceremony of Liberian President Joseph Boakai and to offer advice on the development of Liberia’s economy, agriculture, and philanthropy.
On March 8, 2024, WBHOSC and Winningstar signed a cooperation agreement for Liberia’s automobile assembly plant and cooperation agreements for WINNINGSTAR’s home appliances and NEWVEW’s solar energy projects.Michael J. After the inauguration ceremony of the Liberian President on January 22, 2024, Chairman Fu Chujian had proposed the establishment of industrial zones, bonded zones, and duty-free zones with Liberia’s new Vice President Jeremiah K. Koung. Establishment of new energy vehicle assembly plants, semi-finished product processing plants, manufacturing plants, markets, warehousing, logistics, services, and supply chain complexes. In order to turn these proposals into reality, Michael J. Teekay, the Executive President of WBHOSC, and Buckley, the Deputy Ambassador of Liberia to China, visited the headquarters of Winningstar Group in Italy to promote the implementation of this important project.
Mr. Fu Chujian, Chairman of Italy Winningstar Group, emphasized that Winningstar is actively accelerating the layout of overseas markets and deepening international production capacity cooperation. Considering the growth of income level and the rise of middle class in many African countries, Winningstar regards Africa as the future frontier of global automobile industry, and the signing of the cooperation agreement on Liberia automobile assembly plant with WBHOSC will lead to the “rapid and high-quality development of Liberia’s economy, which will make the country strong and prosperous”, and add to the promotion of the construction of “China-Africa Community of Destiny”.
